Soft edged forge primitives

halo infinite’s forge is on track to be maybe the best iteration of forge to date in the very near future, but theres one little detail that holds back forge built maps from being indistinguishable from real maps. And thats the primitives used as the building blocks of the maps themselves.
They are very strictly speaking, primitives, meaning they have incredibly sharp edges so a rectangular object is essentially a 6 faced model that the forger can put any texture they want on to. This can be great for some purposes, but to make more natural looking maps, the sharp corners kinda stand out in a big way in a first person game.

Because of this, I think it would be a great idea to add a copy of each primitive available in forge, except these versions have softer edges, so theres at least a SLIGHT curve to the edges of the objects. Using these primitives would make forged structures that AREN’T intended to have strict sharp edges have a more natural look. Basically, MOST structures, planter boxes, furniture…anything that isnt actually a sharp cutting implement.

I’m happy to see many improvements already on the way, like placeable water volumes and AI, but unless we get these soft edged primitives, forge maps in infinite will always have the same unnatural look with freakishly sharp corners
