Should there be an social 8v8 playlist? With the small difference to btb is that you can only search with a full lobby. It was very needed playlist on Reach in my opinion. People would love a playlist without useless randoms. Just full lobbies fighting in Slayer/obj gametypes.
I think it would be good to work with a big team and it would stop players from leaving games - but it might have popularity problems.
Also then there would be two 8v8 player combat playlists - some would argue that a variety of playlists is best and would like the return of shotty-snipers or something before this actually happening.

I don’t think popularity would be the issue, population would be however. It’s so late in the games life Dian most have moved on, this restriction at this point wouldn’t help, it just separates the players even further and results in longer search times. There’s already issues where some people can’t even find a btb match.
I think that would be a good idea, I liked Wz Warlords, let SC’s go up against one another. I also think it should be a permanent playlist too.

Permanent sounds even better
I see this as nothing more than a fancier version of BTB. Not worth the trouble.
I’d be for it if it makes encountering full parties go down in the regular playlist.
