My question is, why did they use BTB maps? I honestly kind of prefer them, but why the change? I usually don’t play Arena, but from time to time I will play Infection, or featured things, or BTB. About the BTB maps, why did they keep the Chaingun Turrets?
The BTB maps suck for snipers. It just encourages camping/head glitching and punishes those who run around.
Idk why they kept the turrets, it is just a free kill on the idiot who uses it.

I don’t see any reason to complain, free kills on idiots are free kills on idiots.
I think the Valhalla redux plays pretty well with it.
Eh I was never much as a on the field sniper. I remember sitting on Alaska in Halo Reach covering my teamate at mega long range. I was very good back then. Now they strapped a flood light on all the snipers so it’s impossible to actually snipe without a constant active camo at your side. And I fully excuse the binary rifle, it always had the laser pointer and it’s more anti vehicle anyways.

Ohh I am not complaining. I will always take a free kill.
Snipers should be on BTB maps. who wants to try and snipe on smaller mostly cqc type arena maps? turrets just make easy targets for people who try and use them. It’s SOCIAL it should be fun.
It’s better then being on a small arena map where snipers aren’t quite the dominant weapon of choice.
I agree with all posts, I love BTB maps more, I wouldn’t play snipers if they were on Arena maps.
