My two cents on the social slayer issue.

I don’t like the idea of making a playlist with different types of slayers in it. I’d rather define the social slayer mode clearly, and just put this one. In my opinion, the best settings are:

Primary Weapon: BR
Secondary Weapon: AR
Radar: ON (25 mt)
Maps: 343 & Forge from the community, in the future.
Ranking System: Off

I think it is better this way for various reasons. First of all, they are already there a quick play mode with AR / Magnum start, and Fiesta as for fun mode, so those who want to play with initial AR or really for fun mode, are spoiled for choice. Secondly, this game works too well with the BR. In my opinion, adding AR as a secondary would be the perfect solution.

Totally agree. I like BR starts in ranked, but I miss the AR there. And in quickplay I hate the Sidekick. Don’t know why such a mess of a spammy weapon ever got to be a starting weapon in a Halo game.

among other things it would be nice to be able to play old historical maps rebuilt in forge with BR as primary weapon …
