I really just want a good social slayer playlist but I miss playing with the h2br so I’m throwing the idea into it. The quick play playlist just seems sweaty to begin with and it would be nice to have forge remakes of classics thrown into the mix.
I really hope this happens but what does everyone think?
This is a fantastic idea! I so miss classic Halo, 2, 3, and Reach maps. I’d rather see solid remakes over Forge, but I’ll totally take Forge maps thrown into the mix. There was something beautiful about classic maps and weapons like H2BR. Great idea here
I would love to see this as I love the H2BR. One of the best custom games I have played was a remake of construct that was FFA and had H2BR starts and it was so fun.
The Quickplay playlist is for new players to get accustomed to the game. It’s not meant to be the official Social Slayer playlist.

It’s also used as a warmup playlist by sweats and I think that it would fill its intended role better if more experienced players had no use for it by way of said social slayer playlist. Also, I’ve personally always started a new halo game by practicing in social playlists but halo 3’s playlist for new players was a great idea.

I’ve been wanting a social slayer playlist with actual variety in it for a while now, I said this on a playlist refresh topic I made, I would love social slayer with loads of different slayer modes like h2br slayer being one of them and have some of the maps be on forge maps that are designed well enough for 4v4/5v5 slayer.

I think adding a Social Slayer playlist would be great and your ideas would work in it, but the Quickplay playlist would lose its intended purpose if we implemented those things into it. For now, we just have to hope that 343 will add an official Social Slayer playlist.

That would be awesome.
H2BRs was a lot of fun for rotation, but not something I’d like as a stand-alone… but a pure “normal” social playlist would feel redundant…
But just putting a bunch of different (non-action-sacky) community creations together into a cohesive social slayer would great for some variety.
Despite hating the H2BR id like that idea of adding different weapon starts like in swat. DMR, H2BR, promethean starts, ECT… and it gives new players a chance to get a feeling for weapons in each faction
