Social quit ban is pathetic

Well, truth be told, Quit bans have been in the game since Halo 2. Was told they removed it temporarily out of one game in I believe Halo 4, but that change was very very quickly reverted due to the game suddenly becoming unplayable. Sooooo.

Quit bans in social aren’t going anywhere. You’re unfortunately going to have to learn to deal with it, stop quitting out of games, or just leave this game in general.

Personally I wouldn’t have an issue improving the system, stated it a few times. But Bungie never cared about changing it, and I highly doubt 343i going to do anything either, so whatever.

If respecting my teammates enjoyment of the game makes me an elitist, then I’ll gladly be an elitist then. I’d rather be that then a worthless selfish individual who screws them over because “reasons”.

Must be why I keep getting invited into fire teams after matches, people actually enjoy playing with me. They can actually rely on me and know I’ll make a great teammate.

Skill issues…

Stop quitting games and get better, Simple.

By the way, The guy that made this post is the same person who is advocating for a Battle Royale in Halo… Smh… These type of people are toxic to the community. Complaining about getting banned for quitting social matches but advocating for Battle Royale where people will quit even more… make it make sense…

This really sounds like an area where YOU need to find people you want to play with. If you don’t like what the game gives you, find other people who feel the same way. The game simply makes teams for you, no one said they would be good at the game.

Halo: Infinite MP is free? Did they change that? And the game is telling you to take a break since you keep quitting games anyway, potentially ruining the gameplay experience for both your teammates and potentially enemies, it’s not just you in these lobbies.

Im kinda tired of hearing these complaints. DO NOT LEAVE THE GAME. I don’t think some people realize how annoying it is for the other teammates to then have an automatic loss bc their teammate left bc they didn’t feel like playing a certain game mode even tho that’s the playlist they chose.

Im sorry but if you are not comfortable with putting effort in a game then halo infinite may not be the game for you.

Besides the personal insults lol, I agree, if being an elitist is respecting the team and being unselfish, then Il happily be an elitist

You joined social. You accept you aren’t playing a competitive atmosphere.

But you’re the one who’s having problems with leaving? It sounds like you’re self-indulged into yourself and playing victim.

Yes, we are. You talk like Halo is the only multiplayer in the world where you are matched with higher players. There is absolutely zero chance you will meet a player with he same experience as you. And you joined social, nobody gives a flying hell on what you tell them to do. So I don’t know why you’re acting like you receiving a ban was unjust in a social match when YOU are the one leaving it.

You talk like social is doing everything in ranked, but not worrying about your earnings if you win or lose. Even though social is where every player relaxes their own way. You’re a pure narcissist mentality and think everyone is a problem but yourself.

Maybe stop playing ranked. It ruined your mindset on what an actual social game should look like.

You started up the game knowing three things already: There are things you like, there are things you dislike, and there are things consequences on breaking the rules pm both. Starting up a game makes you accept those terms. This game wasn’t made just for you, everyone else downloaded it too. So you play with everyone who play for different goals whether or not they are the same skill level. Just because you support its services doesn’t allow you bend some rules. Its like being a regular at a store and thinking that gives you have rights to get away with some things.

You want to leave a match and make unbalanced teams, you ruin it for your team, and for the enemy player’s time as well? Sure find a new match, after the hour ban break. Don’t act like you’re surprised you been banned when you definitely were well aware it was coming.

If half your team already left, sure you can leave. If you are facing high desync loss, go ahead and leave a game. Try not to be the leading example of the first player leaving though for “bad teams”. You can only be banned if you leave one match after another. You don’t get banned after one every few games. Which, is probably what you’re doing.

the main reason I don’t play Infinite is because I get bans if I leave games that are unplayably bad

Or worse, I get bans if the game crashes

I can start and leave games of CoD as much as I want without any issues. I’m still not sure why this is a thing in Halo. Its such an archaic concept and doesn’t benefit the game in any way.

Wrong. Quits accumulate. Even 3v4, 2v4 or 1v4 quits get counted.

The funny thing: bans are probably the mos ineffective way to deal with the problem. You harm your playerbase in the short and run long, you actively enforce smurf accounts, you don’t make the match in question more fair. There would be sooo many design choices and measurements to actively solve the problem but 343 opted for the lazy way.

but there is a big reason why there is no quiting problem at all in cod game’s
first you play with your own custom loadout you have not the basic one’s you always get in halo matchmaking.
and the bigst reason is there have not put a lot off diffrend game type’s in 1 playlist.

for exemple take BTB: it has slayer, stockpile, and some more in 1 playlist.
cod has a team deathmatch playlist and there you only play team deathmatch’s on it.
same with S&D or domination there have all there own playlist in cod.

halo has to much diffrend game type’s and there always put a lot off game type’s in 1 playlist so yea then you get that there going to quit for a game type there not like to play.
