'social' playlists

I don’t get it. People act like a playlist being social/unranked means less competition or more fun. It doesn’t matter what game playlist you’re on, it doesn’t matter if you get a digital rank or not. People play multiplayer games online to win. Otherwise what’s the point of playing vs other people? The game experience is still the same. Please quit acting like this is a make or break feature. If you’re going to get your -Yoink- kicked in team arena, you’re going to get your -Yoink- kicked in BTB or team rockets. If you’re so obsessed with casual gaming, play a solo game where your precious feelings can’t be hurt by being outplayed. If you are simply in it for the experience then being onyx or silver really shouldn’t matter.

/end of rant

Social playlists shouldn’t carry any permeant record as far as W/L or K/D. That’s the whole point. You play, you forget. No pressure, less serious.

The only issue with social playlists in Halo 5 is that 343i can’t grasp the point of the appeal of them.

Though frankly, if 343i would let players hide their stats from public view, then you’d probably curb quitting in ranked matches by at least 50% too.

Too easy, I guess. shrugs
