no matter how laid back you try to make some modes in halo5, there is always elite tryhards that want to team up to get the upperhand in a social playlist. as casual gamers migrate away from those highly competitive arena game modes leaving the MLG tryhards to fight amongst themselves; what tends to happen is the tryhards always follow behind the weaker casuals to prey on. the reason? tryhards tend to cry and complain they sweat too much when they are matched up against other tryhards with squads, so they think its fair to bully the random casuals instead.
I suggest a mode that does not allow squads. you need to cool down and chill in this mode suggestion. most players will come here to meet others with similar interest, practice or just -Yoink- around. tryhards and players of all types welcomed but don’t come here expecting to win a trophy with your overpowered squad. just a centralized meet and greet/shoot playlist for all random spartans; win or lose.
try-hards who are “Lone Wolf” per-se are more impressive imo, it is more annoying than impressive to see squads of them searching and preying on casuals. If you prefer to suit up with your trusty fireteam, stop -Yoinking!- bullying the casuals, be brave and go fight 343i’s champion and onyx players who have highly trained fire-team squads awaiting to crush yours.
