How is the current lineup for social playlist a thing? All of these garbage game types that could be put into a single playlist that rotates all of those stupid game types and we could have just one reasonable social skirmish or slayer playlist? This is ridiculous. Who decides these things. Shotty snipers was one of the few enjoyable playlists and it gets replaced with freaking castle wars? Come on.

Believe it or not, some people actually hate Shotty Snipers and love Castle Wars. They should be allowed to have their fun just like you had yours.
I understand people like it but I’m saying you have fiesta, big team battle, grifball, and all these other unique playlists but they don’t have even one standard halo playlist in the social setting. I wish they’d consolidate a few of these playlists and make room from just one standard halo playlist like skirmish or slayer in the social list instead of waiting for the rotational playlist to be something normal. The only way to play a standard halo match is to play ranked and unfortunately it takes 5+ minutes to find a ranked match where social would be more laidback and could join a match in progress and keep search times low.
I totally understand where you’re coming from. Castle wars is one of the most boring game types I’ve played. I do believe that if some people enjoy it it should be available though. But then why not a compromise? Why not at least one normal social Slayer variant?

The social playlist in halo 5 is trash, and it’s one of the reasons why halo 5’s multiplayer is so awful. And to be honest both shotty snipers and castle wars suck.
