That said, Karen Traviss did say she’s going to put a reference to Red vs Blue in Glasslands.
Not true. It was a joke, Burnie Burns from RoosterTeeth has already confirmed numerous times that the RvB characters have never and will never be in the official Halo Canon, he’s also said that he tries to stay as far away from Halo Canon as possible while giving a couple of subtle references.

It also had a photo of Marty O Donnell in it. so, the room clearly means nothing to the Halo universe.
It’s just a sort of joke that’s developed in the RvB community.
