So... would anyone like to see a BTB Heavies?

You know, something akin to what was in Halo Reach? Vehicle heavy BTB matches?

Personally, I did enjoy BTB Heavy matches, even if I spent the entire time in the pedestrian areas using the DMR on the stragglers. Halo 4 has quite the vehicle variety, what with the three Warthog types and the Mantis, so… would it be a good idea?

There’s bigger fish to fry on the BTB front.

They already have this option. Vote for longbow, vortex, exile or ragnaroc.

I’ll be that guy.

Infinity already allows players to get power weapons without much effort. There is no need for a BTB Heavies gametype

Im going to second that, especially with the vehicle rework, BTIS is a defacto Heavies.

I’ve always been disappointed with BTB Heavies because in the past it has included lots of vehicles, especially of the larger sizes, it just plops them down along with loads of power weapons.

What happens is that the vehicles get nuked from the PWs and then you play on foot until stuff respawns, there’s a brief burst of vehicle play and the cycle continues.

So I don’t want BTB Heavies. Because when I picture BTB Heavies, I think of a gametype that very heavily emphasizes vehicle vs vehicle nature. I want a gametype were everyone spawns AT LEAST next to a Ghost and vehicles are the only “weapons” on the map.

Add a couple more vehicles and the title heavies would be an understatement.

Sure, but not the way it used to be.

My vision of Halo 4 Heavies is a pure vehicle game…

  • for the love of mister chief buff vehicle durability
  • NO infinity ordinance
  • NO map ordinance
  • NO plasma pistols
  • NO sticky grenades
  • loadout options: Everyone starts with 2 vehicle perks (Wheelman/Gunner or Wheelman/Survivor)

Essentially, if you’re not in a vehicle… duck!

Yes, but I would also like to see more vehicle oriented maps like Hemmorage from Reach. That was a huge map and was basically a playground for vehicles while the maps in this game have a bunch of hallways and small areas for vehicles. While Forge Island is great, it really doesn’t have the large amounts of space for land vehicles that some people want.

^ This guy, right on.
