so would a beta determine purchase

Just curious as for me it would early on determine if I get halo 4 or not rather than return it if it strays from the path which would be a first in my book because I have never returned a halo game yet.

With all the changes they are making to multiplayer it feels odd that we do not get a taste first before we buy the game.

What are your thoughts or state if there not being a beta would determine if you buy halo 4 or not. there is time yet for one to be made hopefully.

There will be no public beta for Halo 4, it was confirmed a while back.

This is a prime example of why a public beta will not be happening. A BETA is meant to stress servers and find bugs, not determine whether you would buy the game or not. It is not a demo, it is a beta, there is a difference.

E3 laid any concerns I had about campaign to rest and the new videos for the multiplayer have me locked in. Everything looks great. Personal ordinance looks balanced and can allow for more dynamic gameplay without making the overall experience much different. Plus the AAs look to have been designed for perfect balance. They’ve been working on Halo 4 for 3 years right? Makes Reach look like a giant Beta test. Nothing looks over powered except for grenades perhaps (worried about those hydrogen powered hand nukes) I new Frankie would make sure everything worked right.
