I kind of always wanted to play as a suped up jakal, an now even more want to play as a skirmisher, but I guess that’s not really a possibility either then. Maybe with the new world we may get interesting new races for multiplayer, put personally, my favorite thing about reach’s Multiplayer is invasion.

also, i dont think 343i would give up on the elites. too many people enjoy being them. or at least i assume

No, seriously, though, they could always invent a new species for us to play as. Maybe even Precursors themselves.
Likely not precursors, they were the ANCESTORS of the forerunners, just as Neanderthals were the ANCESTORS of Humans. Forerunners lived millions of years ago, so I highly doubt that they would exist still either.
Hopefully not. We might get Forerunners, or another Human-like specie to play as.
