Is ANYONE ever going to start with the AR ever again (on purpose)? 
I’m sure some people will. I’ll give it a try, but I’ll be sticking with precision weapons, for the most part.
Precision Weapons will always be my weapon(s) of choice. Accurate and devastating, I love it. Although i’ll give the AR a try in CQC situations.

That’s about the only time it’ll be useful lol. Or unless you’re in a CQC situation and are out of BR/power weapon ammo.

Yes. I see people that with DMR starts in Reach swap to AR after the respawn…
Of course i will NEVER do that unless there will be some challenges attached to it.
There are some who will try, and they will lose. To be honest I am surprised AR is not considered a secondary weapon.
CQB has been lacking in Halo in my opinion. Halo needs a solid boost in CQB weapon damage, but also a massive decrease in auto-aim / aim-magnetism. Make it less of a spray and pray rock paper scissors match, and turn CQB into a skillful pivot strafe battle which takes some real aiming skills. Ahhh… wishful thinking.
On Close Qurater maps, sure.
yes the ar will make a great backup. If you have a dmr at close range alot of people would want to switch to a close range wep.

Depends on if I like the Storm Rifle or the Suppressor more than it, but I’ll definitely have at least one of those as a primary for a close quarters loadout.
Yes there are lots of people who can’t aim very well that will spray and pray with the new buffed AR and melee. I gaurentee that this will happen to your personally at least 7 times.
AR for the WIN!!!
Of course I’ll use an automatic weapon as my primary! On Almost all of my loadouts if we can still burst/pulse fire with the AR! Or else well I might use a storm rifle for my stealth class.
I’ll give it a shot because I’ve always wanted a decent UNSC automatic rifle with a certain amount of skill depth. Unfortunately, it seems as if 343 kept the AR to its old design, which is comparatively useless to experienced players who can work with the BR and the DMR to their max potential.
I’ll wait to see how it performs, but IMO, it desperately needed an overhaul to even pretend it was on the same level as weapons like the BR and DMR. As it doesn’t seem like it received such an overhaul, I can’t see the AR being a go-to weapon for any player actually looking to succeed.
