So will we see Macer in Halo 5?

From reading people’s thoughts about who was in Locke’s team, a lot of people on here thought Macer (from nightfall) was going to be one of them. While its turned out not to be the case, will she still make an appearance? I’d imagine so simply because 343 didn’t have her killed in nightfall, but who knows. What do you guys think? Will she play a supporting role or was nightfall the last we saw of her?

I don’t know, and frankly I’d be fine if we didn’t see her again (at least siding with the UNSC). I don’t understand why lots of folks were expecting her to be a Spartan IV. If memory serves, she was some sort of Innie, right? On top of that, what about her military career made her a desirable Spartan IV candidate? She survived the Alpha Fragment, sure, but only because of Locke. I just never saw a whole lot of reason to be invested in her (let’s face it, I wasn’t invested in pretty much anything Nightfall had to offer).

What make any of Locke team deserving to be spartan IV beside Buck. What did Tanaka do? Kill one Jackel on a recuse mission. Sure it was her idea to go save them but really. What has locke done? Only thing we know is he survived the alpha fragment and did a horrible job at that. His whole team turn on him and only the Colony militia unit did not turn on him. The only reason he got of it was because Macer was a pilot who could fly the ship so she saved him more then anything he did for her. Then there the new lady and what has she done? All we know about he is she can speak multiple languages well but all the ailen in halo 5 will speak english. Hunter in the dark will tell us more about her.

Nah, she wasn’t an Innie, She was a colonist, a part of the military that served just that Colony and not a part of the UNSC. I think people, including me, were kind of thinking the red spartan was her was because A) the Red Spartan was obviously a chick, and there weren’t a lot of female characters of the proper characterization to be a spartan, Macer was one of them, and B) because when Locke was talking to her before they got to the fragment, she seemed intrigued about both the idea of being recruited by ONI and the idea that Randall was a former Spartan.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Locke brought her on board as the teams pilot.
