I really hope so it looks amazing so far and I would be dissappointed if we couldn’t give it a try and make it even better before release.
No beta, unfortunately.
I am not sure if there is going to be one. I would like to see how a Halo game would do without a Beta.
Still, if there is one i hope it’s open and not one where it requires you to buy a certain game. Maybe for early access but that’s about it.

that’s stupid…so we won’t be able to see how anything function until the game is released…I mean…what if there are bug and glitches, or hell, if there is something broken about the game? We won’t know til it’s release.

Look at Halo 2, it didn’t have a public Beta by any means and I was quite a successful game.
Sadly, no. But people clearly have played it and are working out the kinks and what not.

Actually i look at it differently; the community is fickle as hell and we tend to have conflicting opinions on how everything should play in a Halo game and thus force the developer to “please everyone”, which usually fails to some degree or another. By not doing a beta we are getting a “pure” experience from 343 sort to speak and if Halo 4 is better without a beta, then i am for future Halo games not having them. Plus the video stated that a beta would just interrupt all the polishing they are doing for Halo 4.
Of course, the above is 'what if" scenario in the case there wasn’t a beta. There are plenty of positive aspects to having a beta for players to test. Don’t assume that i don’t think there is.
They don’t need players to test the bugs and glitches; that’s what all the in studio polishing is for. These people aren’t getting paid to ship a buggy experience and they have more than a few months to get it all done from now to release date. More so than most developers actually ;o
Well, he didn’t explicitly say there wouldn’t be one. He just said that they probably would have announced it by now if there was one.
To be honest, Frankie didn’t say no, he didn’t say yes, but he did say that it would impact the development cycle and slow it down. I didn’t hear a “no” in that video.
Just saying.
It’s still possible, but with his comment I’m leaving it as “not likely right now”.
It’s been confirmed by Frankie himself that there will be no beta.
I Doubt that after what he said in that video there will be a beta.
HOWEVER
I still have hopes for a ME3 Style Demo for sure!
