I like many had gotten the Halo Master chief collection for Christmas and I have been wanting to own since the day it came out but money is tight so i didn’t have the money at the time to get it nor do i now. So i got it graciously from my parents and i have been playing it crazily with my friend. Then I hear about the people getting the free content for playing from launch to the 19th. Thats awesome that they are doing that but they also get Halo 3 ODST which is one of my favorites in the Halo universe and i was deeply disheartened that i wont be able to get it free. Instead it will be a paid DLC from i hear because I didn’t have the game 6 days later. This makes me very unhappy because I’ve already bought Halo 3 ODST on Xbox 360 and for other people to get it free and for me to have to Pay money again (money i don’t really have). I hope they will make that free for all instead of leaving out the the unfortunate.
What do you think they should do leave a comment below.
Halo ODST is the biggest value in the compensation package for the people who endured the disastrous launch. If it was free for everyone, then there’s really no “compensation” for the day one users who got screwed over. I hope ODST comes in the form of a code, because then I’d just give it to you, but I doubt it.
Lol…you are not getting screwed over. You are wanting a handout you don’t deserve. Playing the game in its current state for 4 days after numerous band aid patches does not equal the suffering this piece of crap game has been putting people through since Nov 11th.
I think it’s overly generous to say anyone that’s played through Dec 19th gets it. They shouldve cut it off way earlier than that.

The game is still horrendously buggy, and outright unplayable with large parties. 343 should draw the line for free content at the day when it is actually fixed.

What everyone deserves is a game that works. The compensation isn’t adequate anyway. Oh look, it’s another game that won’t work added on to the 4 that already don’t work. Cool, I get one more map that won’t get chosen over lockout. No reason to hate on people who just started getting screwed over instead of the company that has been laughing at us for buying the game for the last 6 weeks.

The launch was botched beyond belief. Trying to play for those 4 weeks sucked for many people.
ODST is a good value for those that endured, yet not everyone is happy.
Cause it costs money to make things stuff isn’t free… And the game works good for me especially compared to November 11 but you know nothing about that
They profited from it didn’t they? And actually i know what its some what like because i didn’t have the update the day i got it because xbox live was down for me so i played with alot of stress
At the end of the day its a business and those who endure a -Yoink- product get some compensation, want something free? Take your -Yoink- down to the salvation army
