“OMG you haven’t played the game yet! You don’t know how it plays!!!”
True but why isn’t this being said to the people who are giving it positive feedback and saying that it’s going to be successful when most of them haven’t played the game just like us? Isn’t negative feedback something 343 wants to hear so they can say “Hey we might have screwed up here”?
I’m not saying everyone here does that. You know who you are.
I think it’s because most of what is “Negative” is either completely blown out of proportion, complete assumptions, or just nonsensical concerns… Or just trolling.
there are a few legitimate concerns though, but the things I listed are no where near that.

That said. Most of the criticism I’ve seen basically boils down to “It’s not a pure arena shooter and this is objectively bad.”
That statement is false as far as I’m concerned.
I could careless if someone gives negative feedback. As long as its reasonable and well thought out. And there isn’t already threads on it. If you see a thread on it already. Just post in that one. Don’t clutter the forums with your own thread(my opinion, it annoys me).
All in all don’t be the person who makes rage threads/posts like below. Be mature about what you want to discuss. Your feedback/opioion will be taken much more seriously that way.

So, essentially you’re giving negative feedback about people who give negative feedback?
Negative opinionated feedback based on opinion is fine
Example:“I am worried about PV here is why and what I would do to make it better.”
That is fine but
Exapmle:“OMG Halo 4 is terribad anyone who likes Halo 4 is a noob who sucks!”
That is not okay.
As long as you feedback is constructive,concise,and mature then it’s.
A lot of negative criticism isn’t put out there in the most mature of ways. It’s more about the presentation of the argument than the argument itself.
giving good, constructive negativity is just as appreciated as good, constructive positivity.
however, saying this game is gonna suck and you’re not buying it just because it looks bad is frowned upon. whenever you see negativeness has no constructive feedback as to why. whenever you see positiveness, there is almost always some kind of constructive feedback.
Because a lot of the community don’t understand the concept of “feedback”.

Halo 4 doesn’t sound competitive at all. I really wish 343 would reconsider the random weapon drops and double armor abilities.

Here’s the problem, most people here don’t know what trolling is so anyone who disagrees with them is a troll.
There is nothing wrong with good and constructive criticism. But that’s not what we get, most of what comes down the pipeline is people being childish and rude and sounding like “It’s not Halo 2/3 so it won’t be good”. And then on top of that you got the really rude CE purists. That’s the people that get scolded.
