So why are people still mad at 343?

So I’ve been seeing people spewing their guys out, still and MOAN about the same thing. Even saw a post where the guy says the only thing to be fixed is file share and grif ball to be added.
No , there’s more in the background that you don’t know about.
Also, what are you gonna do now anyway… They have your money. Big whoop please go try and get it back… Tell me how it goes for ya.
However I thoroughly enjoy this game, it’s had flaws yes. But don’t MOAN horribly all the time.

Ppl are still upset because 343 dose a crap job of responding to grievances.

This, my friend, is the forums. You will find no quarter here.

Even if the game was “perfect” (which is impossible) you would still find a lot of complaints here.

Sincerely,
Tripod

Consequently though, EVERYTHING major especially can’t be fixed right away.

Its been almost two months, I hoped they would have given up by now too. People refuse to get over things. They also apparently refuse to utilize their spell checkers. Kids today.

Yeah I understand man. But I mean damn… It is unreal

As someone who spends much of my time on forums, (Diablo and WoW forums too. Those are brutal.) it’s not as bad as you think. There are still over 100,000 online playing the game while there are only a few hundred currently cruising the forums. Hopefully this put your heart at ease.

Sincerely,
Tripod

Tell me about it. You all act like flame wars are something NEW, or the flame wars here are particularly large.

Until you see some of the flame wars in the sonic fandom, or the flame wars over character pairings from square enix games, you do not know what a flame war is.

People are still upset because 343 has yet to either fix or acknowledge the issues at hand.

> People are still upset because 343 has yet to either fix or acknowledge the issues at hand.

Fix is subjective. Acknowledge is wrong. There has been plenty of Dev interviews the last few weeks acknowledging concerns.

With research,
Tripod

The forums are the place for people to complain, whine, shout, and give constructive criticism. Although, now a days its more about complaining, whining, and shouting.

I know how sad it is seeing people complain about a game you like, but that is how it is with every game.

It is sad people do waste their valuable time on the forums attempting to get their childish voices heard by 343…

I pity them, but I enjoy the game. If I didn’t, I would go back to H3. Its as simple as that but I guess people don’t see it that way.

> People are still upset because 343 has yet to either fix or acknowledge the issues at hand.

Because their isn’t a title update coming in January. /sarcasm

Really people, all you need to do is wait for the January TU.

Customs.

You know, I believe I have a quote that applies to the situation perfectly:

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.”

Fits, don’t it?

Within the first two months of its release, 343i has only conducted updates on glitches instead of balance issues, custom game issues, and has remained quiet about the game while ignoring the community.

I felt betrayed by 343i because of that and accept that they don’t care about the community’s wants.

So yeah. I’m still mad at 343i but not really as well. I’m just done with 343i and Halo in general because of Halo 4. Even Halo Reach wasn’t as bad.

Agreed however, one important reason to complain here is BECAUSE of the love people have for the game.

Also, at this point I’ll whole heartedly believe that a tu addressing the wanted changes to h4 is coming in January when I see a documented contract at my doorstep signed in blood.

This thread reassured me that there are intelligent, patient, and understanding people still playing Halo. Thank you for this.

Kevin then answers like he doesn’t really know what the interviewer is talking about, and says that they’re updating matchmaking with classic experiences like Snipers. Then the interviewer has to get more specific, because Kevin clearly doesn’t understand that he’s talking about customs, not matchmaking.

They did ruin my beloved Halo so yes I will continue to complain.

The disappointed from a story I didn’t feel was very good doesn’t just vanish overnight.

Why do people complain?

Because flame wars are fun to instigate and hilarious to watch.

And it is so easy! Simply mention any of the following terms: “Balance” “Gametype” “Previous Installment” or, most hilariously, “CoD”

Not that, uh, I would know about any of that, of course. Nope, I have no idea how to start a flame war at all, nope, none, nada, zilch.
