Just curious to see who plays that mode. I haven’t touched it yet (just not interested to be honest) but I’m curious to see who has played it since 343 did dedicate a significant amount of resources to it.
Either nobody cares about Spartan Ops or this thread just got bumped off the first page too quickly
I love it!
i like it but the AFKers are annoying as hell in the playlist, i guess thats something we need to live with since 343 couldnt stop them in Reach
I love it but usually play it by myself due to the lag.
I’m afraid it’s best as a solo campaign add-on, with no customizations making it a somewhat of a disappointing experience. Laggy, players that only race to the next kill or objective, team killing, and reused maps set in reverse orders, and Palmer’s dialogue are enough to give me headache, all of this is making Spartan Ops a frustrating game for me.
I’m sure others are having a better time with it and that’s good. I was certainly excited about it when it was announced, but now I’m already depressed about it and I’m finding it a chore to play. Other than the EXP there is no reasons so far for me to really get into it.
Love it been doing them solo.
I like it for XP grinding, but it can get pretty annoying if in a mission with vehicles. I often end up in games where a teammate wants nothing else to do but destroy all the vehicles including the one you’re in, as if kill-count mattered or something.
And the lag… uggh.
I like it. I do it solo legendary because its more challenging. Last time I did it with a bunch or randoms and no joke we finished it in under five minutes. I do wish it had a leader board saying how fast you did it or how man deaths or put a death cap on it. I read somewhere that next one should be very interesting
I love Spops, personally (yes, that’s my self-created abbreviation). It gives me something to do when I get a little bit burnt out from playing online, almost like firefight in reach (and in ODST, I suppose) but much better. It feels a lot more interactive, not just like four silent people killing covenant for twenty minutes.
Also, I get 11,900 exp per match with my double exp
It is pretty fun, yeah. I’m glad they’re using this as an opportunity to expand on Requiem more, something that wasn’t really touched very much in the Campaign.
I wish the cutscenes were a little longer, though. Like, as long as the Forward Unto Dawn episodes.

Post do move quickly on this forum…
but to answer…
They are worth it once for the story and then however often you want for the ludicrous amount of xp they give…
I like it but it could do with having scoring and leaderboards.
I love them, a lot of fun to play alone. As I don’t do online without at least one friend, I tend to be playing SO and getting a decent amount of XP too
I like it, something fun to mix it up from time to time.
It’s pretty cool. It’s just like a campaign add on to me. Apperently others expected something different. I would play through them anyways but I mainly use them to grind XP.
I play it for the XP, I think I have like 8 hours in SOps lol
Its relaxing, Matchmaking is just pretty hectic right now. 5 snipers on a map at any given time while another team has two wraiths and 5 million warhogs… ugh
Firefight was cool, but Spartan Ops (which is the 343i answer to FF) is a great way to make up for the ridiculously short campaign - and I’m loving it.
So far we have been given about 90 minutes of additional gameplay - and that’s only if you play through each chapter one time. Not to mention the additional story, cinematics, and challenges.
Spartan Ops is also the easiest way to boost your SR ranking relatively quickly.
But the best part? We have at least 40 more chapters (8 episodes) coming free of charge.

WAT
I will assume that you meant to ask “Is the gameplay between the British English and American English translations any different?”
If so, the answer is no.
