He must have been AFK as there’s no way his accuracy was that high unless he got a good shot and then never shot again after that

Pretty much feel exactly the same. I’m a 152 in H5, I’ll probably go back to it soon.

People with aim tracking aka controllers have a huge advantage.

source a friend played with both, felt dirty using controller do to how easy it is to track targets with it.

The only way aim assist is going to give them a massive advantage is if the person playing on mouse and keyboard is a terrible aim

This just isn’t true.

343 has already acknowledged that the inputs aren’t truly balanced, both in previous games and this one. Otherwise IBMM in ranked wouldn’t even be a thing.

Or they realised that people will keep complaining whatever 343 would do, since people will keep blaming losses on people playing on a different input…

Yeah but the average PC player has 50% accuracy while the average console has 70%

PC tends to be 20% less accurate then controller for aiming in halo, 50% less accurate on halo 4. the game has some heavy aim assist for console users.

They think it activates automatically. Lol.

Setting your deadzones right fixes this. There is no godlike aim.

This is what happens when you set your deadzones to 0.

As you can see from the video, it doesn’t give anyone an advantage. It’s just a bug in the system.

It basically does something different for everyone. 0 might work for him, but you might need 1-2-3-4-5 or any number in between. It reduces controller drift, and it’s different for everyone and every controller.

It’s found in the minds of bad M&K players that can’t accept that they’re not as good as they thought.

This is still a pretty bad test. Enemies were drifting in and out of cover, the controller is so dark I can’t see what you’re trying to show me, and your right stick movement was inconsistent.

I have that same issue and I’m in console. It’s quite annoying. Or even when I’m in a close range battle the aim goes way too fast and can’t even aim o to the enemy :joy:

I think sticky aim is missing from this iteration of the engine… I swear that entire code is just gone.

You guys remember how in other Halos the reticule would slow down as it got near a target? Before red reticule range even, it would just slow down as you started looking in their general direction. That was a sweet little feature.
