there is data on this. the AA is real.
Use a BR on a mouse and then use it on a controller and youāll see all the autoaim.
There is no slider to give you enhanced aim assist.
Compared to other games in the series and even other FPS I think the AA is really low in Infinite. I barely feel anything on most weapons and when I have a sniper rifle, itās literally 0 for me.
Maybe I just went total newb at the game or itās off for some reason but yeah.
Wait wait wait wait what, PC aim assist? Who the heck uses controller on PC?
I definitely agree with you there the aim assist is very minimal and I play on console itās not even noticeable the only time Iāve ever really noticed it is if I am playing a custom match against some bots with friends but other than that I donāt notice it at all during fiesta CTF or anything like that
Ya⦠Iāve seen an uptick in this too. AA is the lowest in the series in this game, and is only applied within the Red Reticle Range. And this is the first Halo game that I have played where most fights feel like they take place outside of RRR. When within RRR the game feels pretty good, I will admit. I think that the inconsistency in RRR is what is causing some to have issues.
A lot of people lol. All of the people that I play with on PC use a controller. Most pros taking part in these pre-release tournaments were using controller on PC too.
personally, i would never go back to a controller in FPS gamesā¦
I used to. Been playing Halo with controller since Halo 1. But since aim assist is so damn bad in Infinite I switched to M&K.
The problem is, the god tier mkb players canāt beat out the best controller players. Look at the accuracy stats, the best mkb players are barely better then the average controller player, and completely crushed by top tier controller players.
THIS IS WHAT I POSTED UNDER ANOTHER THREAD. QUOTED HERE VERBATIM -
I am having having no fun at all with this. MCC and Halo 5 were never a problem. I looked through the forums, watched some videos and tried the deadzone, look acceleration, FOV etc. to no avail. I am 54 and I realise that my eyesight is nowhere near what it used to be and I have incurred injuries to my hands which doesnāt help. I have ridden motocross all my life and still do, which takes a toll on the knuckles and forearms ( every dirt bike rider can tell you about forearm pump ) I also had my right hand severely broken, by a bad tempered bull we had in the round yard a couple of years ago. BUT, with all that being said, I am still playing MCC and Halo 5 without to many problems, just some finger stretches and a good eye blinking session, between rounds. Infinite is just another story. Itās like every game is an Olympic competition/Sweat fest. I am just shrugging my shoulders at this point. There are posts in other forum threads, where players are saying how they have already done 95 hours of play. This might be a part of the problem. Some players have all the time in th world to get to know every millimetre of the map and I have a 100 other commitments in life, before I can sit down to spend an hour playing some video games as a break. At this point, PvP on Infinite, for me anyway, is not at all enjoyable. I have been having a great old time, on the MCC, doing the challenges over there. I have the Infinite campaign on order and I am really looking forward to that, but as for the F2P side on Infinite, I sort of donāt care. The monetization is horrendous and the sweat fest that goes with having a game, for me anyway, sucks any enjoyment out of it.
The secret to finding this amazing auto aim is to be a mediocre kb/m player who gets stomped on regularly. Then you see amazing auto aim for your opponents everywhereā¦
What the hell is this?
Everyone knows you have to move the stick a bit to activate the AA.
Have you set your look/aim deadzone to zero?
I just had a player who ended the match with 75% accuracy. Except that, he had 1 kill and 12 deaths. Really makes you wonderā¦
Which is why you take the subset of players who have high CSRs, who are playing the game properly. Yesterday the most accurate player in the world had a KD of 0.4
Considering I play on console and my last match which I went 18 to 4 my accuracy was 44.27%. I think thatās either a glitch or his first kill was just really accurate and then he went AFK after that
Every PC must come with instructions how to use,
and instructions on how to gaslight Xbox owners into thinking that consoles have an advantage.
see manual under Aim Assist
Same pretty much. I had a positive KD that match but my accuracy was nowhere near that. He probably was AFK.
