Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Halo 4’s Multiplayer and especially love the Campaign and Spartan Ops, but I remember 343 mentioning somehwere before the game was released that there would be a Classic playlist playable for people who don’t like ordnance drops and customizable loadouts. As much as i enjoy Halo 4, I still like to be able to sit back and play an arena shooter again. So has anyone heard any news on when this playlist is supposed to show up?
Yeah, I was wondering when they were going to do this! I really hope that 343 Industries starts work on the Classic playlist as there are a lot of players who dislike the changes that 343 have made to matchmaking. The classic playlist would probably get those kinds of people back on Halo 4’s multiplayer. Let’s see if we can get 343 Industries to look at this and include it in the next matchmaking update!

Not quite classic, but as of right now, this is as close as you’re gonna get.
Mid-Feb…so possibly the 11th, but I’m thinking it’ll be the 18th. We’ll see what happens in the future though.

They could easily incorporate Classic team slayer into the choices in the infinity slayer playlists, then we can decide for ourselves if we want to play infinity or classic slayer.
We had Slayer Pro but not enough ppl were paying it. I believe it was mainly due to the fact almost everyone was using the DMR and we all know how fun it is to play aginst those ppl.
I would really enjoy a classic playlist kinda like Halo Reach had. Only truly good forge remakes from the best maps of H1, 2, & 3. I would play it.
There won’t be a classic playlist unless the TU makes removing sprint possible. I really hope 343 isn’t considering the “competitive” playlist a classic playlist cause it isn’t.
