People were up in arms about all of those things and 343 removed them from the store and gave them away for free. They removed so much filler and replaced it with cosmetic items that everyone unanimously agrees was an amazing move. I’d encourage you to just go to the reddit and look at the item changes, then read the comments.
Edit: I can’t find a comparison, but it is more than “those three things.” There’s two extra belts, weapon colors, and more stuff but I can’t say for certain what’s there because I haven’t found the side by side comparison.
Don’t do this. You will waste your swaps. There are only 10 tenrai Challenges. They are already queued up in the order they will show up. Swaps do not turn regular challenges into event challenges.
IMO the event pass is 300% better than it was the first time around. The event itself I don’t like, because I do not like fiesta. It is what it is.
From reading the comments it seems like some people will not change their minds or even acknowledge any positive changes 343i makes. Feel free to argue but you might as well just go play the game.

That’s generally what I’ve been seeing on the forums. People are clinging to the same tired complaints and when I point out the positive changes that were made as a direct response to their initial feedback, they move the goalpost.
Your first reply you said the they took items from the shop and made them free and asked how that will weigh towards the shop.

Let’s try this again. Read my edit. Then read the part where I said to go to the reddit post to see the full breakdown of the new event. In the time it took you to write down this comment, you could’ve taken 5 seconds to google to see all the items available in the updated event. In fact, why on Earth would you continue to go back and forth without actually checking it out for yourself?

The removed 11 ranks of filler items (Challenge Swaps and XP Boosts). Then they added:
An additional shoulder set (so now free players get two shoulder sets instead of one)
Knee Pads
Kabuto Helmet (Players were really up in arms about not being able to earn this)
Two armor coatings (previously players didn’t get any armor coatings)
An additional belt attachment (now players have two choices)
A chest attachment (players previously didn’t get any chest attachments)
A kabuto helmet attachment (the one from the trailer that players wanted)
A visor color
A new stance

Literally everyone noticed and everyone liked it. You just jumped into a thread titled “where are all those Tenrai changes,” and then proceeded to ramble and move the goalpost without actually knowing what you’re talking about.

Except the coolest helmet from the trailer, along with the attachment everyone wanted, and the shoulder armor they showcased, and the knee pads they showcased, all of which they were planning on selling, are now free (and of course the rest of the cosmetics I mentioned).
But hey, keep moving that goalpost. At first it was “They want as much money as possible.” Then when I pointed out they added more free stuff that was ultimately removed from the store, you changed your tune to: “wait they changed things? I didn’t know they changed things.” Then it was “They only added three things? Well that doesn’t seem like much.” And now it’s “well… there’s still stuff in the store.”
Either admit that you’re only here to complain about the store, or just pipe down.
The biggest issue I have with the event is they STILL put event items shown in the trailer…in the store
Pretty sure most of the items shown in the trailer that are still in the store are the ones from the “new premium cosmetics” section of the video, which was explicitly about the store.
The armor effect was shown off prior to that though. Not too mad about that one being in the store though.

Notice how at the start of this conversation you were deliberately engaging with everything I said, you were genuinely asking questions and trying to challenge me, but the moment I brought out the actual numbers and dismantled literally everything you said, the emojis came out in full force and you had to make up positions that I never expressed because you got nothing.
If i’m reading things right in the Patch Notes blog post; unless they give us 13 in week 3 (feb) then it will be impossible to get past rank 27 on the Tenrai pass. week 1 = 7; week 2 = 10; right now I’ve got 17 and none of the 3 extra to make up for last week.
Are we going to need to do a 4th week just for 3 challenges?
