So, when do you plan on backing up your own words 343?

So far your focus has mainly been about the BP/shop. I’m sure there are a few players that appreciate you making adjustments, and attempting to fix some of the issues going on with the game. My concern is mostly about what you said with ( your own words ] to what was to be expected and so far you haven’t come through with what you said. Where is all this stuff that is unlocked through playing the game and only playing the game?

Edit: IMO the items earned through the BP shouldn’t have been the only option for the entire player base. The way Halo 5 was set up gave paying and none paying players a lot of options and more incentive to buy from the shop that should be a totally separate thing from the BP. For example, items from Halo Reach should have never been put in the shop, those items should have been earnable just by playing the game and only playing the game.

Aren’t the items acquired from doing events free? or do they also require the battle pass? It’s not a ton all at once, but you do get some pieces here and there and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did more later down the road.

Not to say that’s all I’d hope at least bare in mind, but it isn’t nothing either technically…

It’s minable at best in hopes to get players to buy from the shop. Bungie has been pulling this nonsense for a good couple of years now, deliberately making ugly gear for the activities in the game so players would buy ornaments from the shop.

IMO that is where the problem lies. I’ve never had a problem with a shop being placed in a game because it’s suppose to serve a purpose and that is to support the game allowing the developer to create content, etc… but when that shop becomes more of a priority vs making a quality type of game let alone content it’s a problem especially knowing the minable amount of content that has been offered.

There should be a system set up like the rec points from Halo 5 in spite of the f2p MP. Now I’m not saying that it should just give you all kinds of points like Halo 5 did, but there needs to be an incentive for players to want to play. Without that incentive, this game will continue to keep losing its player base and infinite player base is nowhere near anything to brag about.
