So When Do We Consider Infinite Dead?

When 343i start ignoring & never communicate with games community.
Wait a minute :face_with_monocle: :worried:

Probably consider it dead after their original 10 yr. Plan and they aren’t making anymore updates.

If it was that bad before it released, why are you on the message board here and now?

As for me, I love the game. I usually don’t give a crap about F2P games, but this one is an exception! I’ve also been part of the solutiom by purchasing a number of the reasonably priced items. I spend maybe $5-10 per month on this game. And for hundreds pf hours of fun so far? That’s worth it to me.

Honestly the game is dead at this point. Hate to say it, but it is. Six months for a season is lunacy, even for me. I play maybe an hour or so after work a day and maybe a few hours on my off days… I finished the BP in 45 days… That says enough right there. A three month BP would be great, new content, new stuff, but six months because 343i cant get their -Yoink!- together??? Really? People are gonna just quit. I only check the new Ultimate reward, see if its worth my time, then dip out. I have zero reson to play anymore except maybe kill some time before I head out some where. Other than that, its just taking up space on my PC…

In my immediate circle, it has died. A group of roughly 12 of us, we are down to maybe 2-3 on per night if we are lucky. Half of them have left completely. I still play regularly but at higher levels, games are the same 8 players mixed around game after game. It got so bad the other night, a group of us group chatted as we played each other in ranked…… game after game.

Between desync -Yoink!- competitive people off and lack of content -Yoink!- of the social crowd. It’s a mess that no one wants to routinely play or get lost in…. There just isn’t a dopamine releasing scenario in this game that keeps you coming back for more.

Halo Infinite isn’t dead. Updates were being delayed more than how it should. Updates sure do need to be more frequent and in future updates, the Gauss Warthog should hopefully be functioning and have an appearance already.

The game died the moment it launched and the players saw how barren it was.

First impression was atrocious and most of those players are never returning because of it

We are halo infinite… you, me, the pros, and the creators…it is whatever we make it. I’ll be back in the lobbies next week. If I stand alone than I will alone be halo infinite…if others are around, then we are halo infinite…if you don’t consider yourself part of this, reconsider why your still here, maybe your not good enough for us… peace out :v:

I’m gonna try not to be too harsh here because I usually am, but I really need you to understand that spending money on this game makes you part of the problem. You are sending a message to them that this unfinished (and at times unplayable) game is worth spending money on. They take that as a sign that they don’t have to improve anything in order to receive your money. I’ve said it so many times on this forum and I’ll hopefully keep saying it as many times as people will need to hear it, but Please please please stop giving your money away to Microsoft for an unfinished product. I would love to spend a lot of money on this game, but only when they’ve earned it. And if everything that’s been revealed in the last week is accurate, that still won’t be for quite a while.

Lol Get a grip. Halo is dead, Long live the microtransaction store

Pretty sure a paycheck has nothing to do with skill. Majority of people say the basic game-play is good. The problem is the predatory live service and not their k/d. I haven’t touched Halo Infinite in months because of the false promises involving the progression system.

I have occasionally gone back to see if things have got better and sadly not. When a majority of Halo fans are dropping the game…that probably means there’s something wrong with the game itself and not the players since both casual and long term players of the series are dropping the game.

Seeing as the predatory ā€˜shop’ is part of the game it kind of killed my interest for the game and I’m struggling to get excited for any Halo news and it has me concerned for the future of the IP.

Because you said something ridiculous like this. Instead of fighting for a better quality version of Halo, youre content with rolling over and playing fetch for your 343 corporate overlords. Instead of engaging in a nuanced discussion about how critical the state of this game was and still is, youd rather pretend like everything is hunky dory. Youre participating in the death of Halo by ignoring the fact that youre playing a hollow shell of a franchise that was at one point in time, THE proverbial titan in the gaming industry.

Halo is dead, usurped by the microtransaction store. Long live the microtransaction store. Have fun sitting in your arena lobbies while 343 decides what the next FOMO product should be in the store.

You said this… so if it is dead (to you) stop coming to it’s forum and bothering the people who appreciate it.

There you go again, taking a dump on the people who are fighting 343 to make a better version of a once great game. Nice of you to take that out of context and ignore the part where i emphasized the microtransaction store. Kind of like how 343 emphasizes it. Its poetry my friend, but as an old friend once said,

I told you to get a grip because you said this:

You are completely undermining any and all criticism of this game for the sake of gate keeping. GET A GRIP

Complaining on these forums equals ā€œdoing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different resultā€ if you think it’s working, I advise you to look at this quote and see who coined it and why he did

Lol einstein didnt actually say that. And youre assuming I’m here to give feedback to 343? Couldnt be more wrong. I’m here to give as many people as many reasons not to play this game. I want 343 to feel the crushing sensation of their game hemorrhaging players.

Anyway, you should really stop attributing that quote to Einstein, it proves that you probably dont do much fact checking, which hurts your credibility about as much as you saying that anyone who is dissatisfied with this game isnt good enough for you. Its also a little bit insane…
