Fully understand that Steam statistics have to be taken with a grain of salt but Infinite right now is #92…. On May 3 there was a bump with season 2 but now it is back down to levels at the end of season 1… not having Spartan companies and not having personal and company commendations has been a huge buzz kill among many factors ….I am not even sure co-op campaign will make any meaningful difference as many have just said thanks, no thanks, not coming back…

Cool. Then the game lives until they shut down the servers. Not really a substantial definition if you have any brain cells to think with.

I considered this game dead when 343 botched their “beta” and when the “full release” dropped it was still just a buggy pile of garbage. Game’s wack and not worth playing or spending your money on until 343 stops shooting themselves in the foot.

What playlist? Solo with controller input? Open and both inputs are fine for me as well.
Solo queing on xbox ya a mix of open or controller onky deppending on how im feeling.
I only played the game with the squad on pc on my alt.
Dont get me wrong ive had my share of us server matches but its usually only here and there.
Game certainly doesnt feel dead for me. Yet.
Granted i was a console titanfall and titanfall 2 player not to mention a quake arena, UC2/ut2004 and h2v guy long after most deemed those to be dead so my perspective prob isnt the most valid.

I loved Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Reach so much as a teenager I decided to buy the new Xbox Series X at UK launch date in 2020. Only to then find out the game has been delayed by a year. I unfortunately started playing warzone for a year whilst waiting for Infinite to come out. Warzone then became unplayable due to cheating and got ruined by Caldera also. Anyway i didnt care as i was still excited for the 2021 December release of Infinite. I even play tested the game pre release and enjoyed it. Post release in December 2021 i loved the game initially but started to get a bit tired of the lack of content after 6months. However i still stuck with it. The final straw for me is that i cannot play ranked cross region with my brothers and cousin like we used to. My cousin lives in Canada and my brothers live in the UK. Whenever we play together not only is the ping between 90-150, even when the ping is 25-89 the game is laggy not matter what server we play on. Desync, blank melees, unexplainable deaths from explosions of grenades you dont see or hear thrown, having to shoot the enemy several extra times with the BR as the shots are not registering and playing just seem to not die. When i play ranked with just my brothers in the UK i get hardly any of these issues.
Fix the game please so we can play with our families and friends accross the world with balanced ping for all players and no weird bugs. Surely you can lock ping so its the same for everyone. Its 2022 for heavens sake. Sort it out please 343 as i dont want my childhood game ruined!

Do you want a halo which is dead? Halo 3 from Xbox 360, servers were shut down by 343 and it hurts to everyone of us because it was our childhood, that’s a dead game.

The original servers may be down but that won’t stop some of us heck some dedicated players got matchmaking working again

They Keep updating Windows Explorer,
And only Geriatric old people use that, It is practically a dead web browser lol.
For what it’s worth - Internet Explorer will no longer be supported come June 15.

The day they stop updating internet Explorer is the day when it will die but as long as they keep updating it. It’s not. Do you want to know what is dead? Windows 7. Windows 7 no longer receive updates or so. And I don’t know what’s the relationship between halo and internet, they are literally two different things.

The bar doesn’t have to be that low. That makes Fallout 76 a thriving community.
Speaking of which, as of right now it’s got a higher steam player count by about 500 players than Infinite. Now that hurts to see.
