3 days. The last 3 days, I haven’t won a single Warzone match. In fact it’s gotten to the point where I’m leaving games now because they’re just too frustrating to stay in. I have a couple hours to play and I want to enjoy myself. When this bogus matchmaking system puts me in progressively more and more one-sided matches where it becomes more difficult to even get kills, then I really don’t want to play this game and give any more money to you guys. It’s like your matchmaking system doesn’t even try. It’s pretty insulting to us for you guys to think that this is good design.
Oh, and on a side note, I played a firefight match on Darkstar where there were enemy Phaetons on round one. How are we supposed to fight heavily armored near insta-kill aircraft with our non-upgraded assault rifles and pistols? Come on. You guys are better than this. This is Halo, it shouldn’t suck.
Honestly I’ve never had phaetons on round 1 before…
First of all, you’re not going to win games with that attitude. If you go into a game and fully expect to lose, chances are you’re going to lose. Try visualizing yourself winning.
Second, everybody has to do their part. The bosses in wzff aren’t going to just sit there and let you kill them. You need teamwork, if it’s a big target with lots of health, everyone should focus on that boss. If there are multiple bosses focus on ONE at a time.
Lastly, reqs. Now 343 aren’t didn’t give you those easy commendations (with the exception of the wins) for nothing. Use your reqs. You got plasma pistols? Good, use them. A shiny new tank? Warden Eternal won’t stand a chance (except he will)
And I know I said the last one was the last step, but this is more important.
Have hope. If you see that there’s only 30 seconds left and a boss is only down half its health, keep fighting and don’t give up.
I have had a similar losing streak as of late, constantly getting stomped by almost full fire teams on war zone and getting teamed with infuriatingly stupid people in firefight but I find it goes in phases.
The last few games have been much better. I had Phaetons on round 2 I think once before and it seemed almost impossible until I started bringing out the plasma pistols.
Due to the terrain of that map if you emp them they are very likely to flip over which causes them to explode and you can just mop up the pilot. I’m glad I’m sitting on over 100 plasma pistols now. They are great if you get a vehicle round early in firefight.
Keep at it, man. I’ve had nasty losing streaks before. Play WarZone Assault for a while if you haven’t already; you can usually get a couple of ridiculously easy wins there.
