So, when are we getting an actual game because this Beta isn't cutting it

Alright alright I’ll take your word on it

Nah man not reaching, just sticking to the parameters of the phrasing. I’m a debate nerd, it’s what I do.

I made a inference jokingly at the beginning sure, but if it’s my last reference to the word (post before this one) I was taking a cheap shot in response to your cheap shot.

Like I said, let’s call it even we’ve made our points even if we disagree lol

Imma stop you right there, my entire reason to be in this topic was a misspelling, and it’s been resolved. Everything else I participated in was elective.

Case closed.

Tbh, I know when I created this post that you would reply, that’s how much you stick out.

Don’t try to play specifics with me
You know exactly what I mean.

People are mad.

And rightfully so. A lot of us have stayed quiet for all five games up until now. For some of us, ENOGUH IS ENOUGH

Boooooo, Merry Christmas, I’m glad you enjoyed the gift lol

But we are still playing on the same maps. That isn’t content, that is what you call game modes

Exactly we’ve been playing the same maps since the launch of the “BETA”

Sorry bro but this is the game we got. It’s not perfect, it’s kind of decent, but definitely not a memorable gaming experience for me… just one of the better Halo games that was made by 343.

That being said, the drastic change in multiplayer didn’t ruin Infinite for me. The progressive systems found in previous Halo games certainly made the grind much less of a chore but the true catalyst for me was that I thought the Infinite story line was atrocious so far. Everyone knew 4 and 5 were not well received due to the stories and drastic changes to the MP core, but to completely flip flop the story(and the MP) again and abandon years of buildup…

Infinite feels like a Scooby-Doo episode where they pull the mask off the monster at the end, and then pull off another mask, then another, then another, revealing a line of villains that make no freaking sense.

Personally, I’m tired of companies creating a half-backed game, and in this case it’s less than half-backed. To top it off, 343 gutted the game to sell most of it in pieces using the shop.

Exactly. Then when forge and co op comes out 343 gets praised for releasing something that should be on launch. I literally see the future with this game. It’s going to be drip fed content until you can’t take the sound of the gun anymore. They are going to milk it dry like GTA. More than dry. They are ganna Rip the carton and take the insides.

The people that praise them are the same ones that play Destiny. “343 can do no wrong”

It’s the crowd that says, “just wait and see” Yeah, we’ve been waiting since Halo 4 :joy::man_facepalming:

I’ve found how to fix infinite just uninstall it the game is broken if you don’t it’s going to be MMC and Halo 5 all over again a promise to fix it then ignored for 6 years the game is absolutely unplayable for me the campaign was the only part I liked it was a 6/10

No rhinos or deer/elk animals… and you can’t really explore the right northern part of the map either. While I liked going underground it wasn’t like any of the fobs ever got attacked with the exception of the banshee that spawn to close. To make things worse the ai gets out of vehicles if you are not driving and you can’t even stack ai on the sides of tanks anymore. I was expecting something on the lines of gathering enough marines to assault an area and some cinematic pep talk to all the marines you saved… NOPE. Mean while as far as anyone on earth knows they are probably unaware the state of the infinity, chief and zeta halo given what command structure was left allowed halsey to walk about unshackled. After finding all the logs pessimistic is being nice. No forge or co op and at the end of the day once you beat the campaign on legendary, unless your looking for skulls or logs, there is hardly any replay ability. beat the games 3 times and only because of LASO.

I expected rain and fog, wildlife and yet the only thing I saw the whole game was the mole rat looking things. They could of had a whole area that had skitters out the wazu. Their also extremely vague to the fate of other characters fates they shoved down our throats for years. Palmer, buck, lasky, miller ext. we know blue team was else where but just really vague.

343 did say the weather will be updated later on, could possibly add wildlife too, who knows when though.

I don’t think wildlife and rain/fog is going to make me want to go back through this campaign again. Maybe in the DLC, who knows…

So what you’re saying this isn’t 343’s fault but rather they picked up Bungie’s mess?

May contain spoilers of the campaign, writing this on a phone so can’t do spoiler marks too well.

I agree with you. The game feels like a bare bones Halo inside a broken shell. The core gameplay is good, and it is better that we have good gameplay than bad gameplay with a shiny shell.
But current there are too many problems in every aspect of the game and makes it feel like early access rather than a complete game.

The open world was a mistake with the repetitive content. And getting banshees and the wasp at the end was annoying (this should have been right from the beginning). And although the grapple is fun, spamming it wasn’t.

It did have similar issues as Zelda that it had too little content (few enemies and weapons and single biome) stretched out to a hundred.

And the bosses were really lame and unfun. Just get a sniper and skewer and you’re good. Hunters were also too weak, no need to hit weak spots, just spam all weapons. (been playing on Legendary, since I don’t want to play this again).

Regardless of having performance issues I’ve been playing the campaign and with the repetitivenes and 20-30 fps on intensive areas like the Banished bases is really unfun.

I also played Halo 3 yesterday with a friend and I had a lot more fun on those simple straight forward missions since a lot more was happening.

Instead of an open world, they should have made bigger linear missions with interesting scenarios and varying biomes. And overall what the story is missing is suspension and this is why it is rather weak.

Only missions I enjoyed were the first two and when you go into the spire and fight the monitor, that boss fight was good.

As of yet I haven’t finished the campaign since now I’m collecting all the collectables from the game, but going back and forth is really boring. And I captured all the banished bases and Fobs and got a achievement that everything is captured… I still have over half of the visible map unexplored…
So is the other half of the map for dlcs? Do they have the same biome since on the map it doesn’t look that different.

And now that I just played against flood in Halo 3 (which was a blast btw). The endless better be a lot bigger threat than what the whole Halo franchise has deemed the biggest threat.
The Endless are better be a variation of Flood, because if they are lacking then this story is even worse.

I don’t believe the Harbinger and Skimmers are Endless, they felt more like basic enemies comparable to elites and the flying drones but with snipers (shock rifles). But if these guys are the Endless then seriously WTF.

PS.
Sorry for the long post, I do like to write all my thoughts in one sitting instead of scattering them in multiple places.

I am having a brutal hard time finding out where you are wrong.

Interesting, the original Bungie’s “mess” as you call it made the franchise 5 billion without a shop.

Yeah, I can say a shader is content as well. See how that works? but it’s more than obvious you are reaching hardcore here vs what I was actually referring to.
