I just tried to dip into the new breakout mode, it doesn’t play right at all. I think everyone can agree that shotguns starts is annoying. Please change it back
i hope they keep this one and add the old one back so who ever likes this one which i dont there wont be any complaints
I agree old breakout is far superior but it honestly needs to be let go of if it’s underperforming as bad as it’s claimed to be. It’s cool that 343 wanted to try and make their own mode, but not many are fans of elimination, especially since other games have it as well but better fit for it.
Solution is toveither take a serious look into actually improving it correctly or dropping it. Both versions they’ve tried have failed although the original is much better than attempt #2.

I really like the new one… but I also liked the old one.
The new one is way more intense and welcoming for solo players. The shotgun is weird, but I definely prefer the new Brakout.
I don’t know who thought adding the new features to the mode would reignite the spark in the community for the game type. Now people just bum rush the Obj every time so they don’t have to deal with a radar watching shotgun camp fest.
Hopefully, during the next update they revert everything back to it’s original state. Full health and radar is not what Breakout was intended to have. Now it’s basically just elimination with an optional Objective. Very stupid move in their part in my opinion. I could get over the shotgun starts if shields and radar were removed.
No, I prefer the new one, it is less frustrating. Although everyone having shotguns is a bit much but the shields I want to stay.
maybe it’s a casual vs hardcore thing again but adding shotguns removes skill from the game. Now every casual just runs around with a shotgun and there’s no point having a pistol out most the time
