I’ve been seeing farming thread after farming thread for months now. Most of which have only been about Achilles, unsportsmanlike conduct, how to fix, blah blah, blah blah, etc. etc. Rarely do I see any info on how the person posting about farming. Was actually farmed! I want this thread to be about HOW the farming went down.
This is so that those that may have been farmed, can have their story evaluated by those that may know what farming actually is. For all I know my definition of farming may not be correct or it might be. Some of you may need to second guess yourselves as well or not. Lets make this thread the deciding factor. I’ll go first.
One memorable case of what I believe was my team getting farmed went as so. It was on the Ark warzone map. (It’s Escape on Ark, or Escape from Ark, I don’t know I just always call it ark.) My group of randoms cleared out home base and started heading to our armory. We were not the only ones. Some of the enemy team must have ignored their armory and the boss that spawned for them because they were right on top of us in no time. Maybe they cleared their home base faster, idk. Anyway, they managed to take control of our armory before taking their own. They also left the garage unclaimed for about the first 5-7 minutes of the game. I tried fighting back as hard as I could until the 10 minute mark hoping that our core would get destroyed for that full RP reward. Unfortunately it was not, and I basically had given up once I seen about 4 or 5 mantises (or is it manti) going inside our base in a single file line. The rest of the time I spent getting spawn killed or trying to see how far I could walk before getting killed. With just 5 other players that had not quit including me left on the team. Our core was finally destroyed 17 minutes in and Baron Sorom was still alive to see the end of it.
Now obviously I was mad, but I stayed in the game. I could have left at any time and not have to deal with it. I did not report anyone because these things happen and people kill people. All I want to know is, does this story fit the term farming?
Let me know, maybe give a little explanation, and if able tell me what’s your story.
