First off let me say this… This game looks great and I like the title they gave it. But this sounds more like a spinoff to me. I wonder if we will get a true halo 5.
Second off, this topic is about what you think will come out this year.
Will there be an ODST Gen 2?
Halo Wars 2?
Or Halo 2 Anniversary?
Note that the 343i said they were making a big leap in 2014. I don’t see H2A as a big leap.
I want to see another ODST. I think the mm would be cool. Firefight could return too. Gives us something to do for another year. Get back with some old forgotten characters. Also another perspective on what is going on in the universe.
If there was a Halo Wars 2 I would want an FPS, but then it wouldn’t feel like halo wars.
I am one who is against H2A. We played Halo 2 already. It was a great game but I think the only game that should get an anniversary was Halo CE.

There are a lot of hints suggesting that we would get Halo 2A this year, so my money is on Halo 2A
Im in a 70/30 situation with Halo 2A.
A small part of me doesn’t want Halo 2 again, but the rest of me want to see Halo 2 in glorious HD.
I don’t want H2A at all. We’ve been there and done that. More story. I want another ODST
Well it could also be Halo 2 remake with a big leap twist! Either way I am pretty excited. I love all the insinuation to be speculated over.
It has to be Halo 5 since Halo 5: Guardians comes out next year.

Maybe a Halo 5 this year with just story?? Idk but anything but H2A

Of all things really? When we have all these hints, hinting towards a Halo 2!
I think the best chances for whats to come this year is a H2A. The reason being that if it were an entirely new game, they would have to put development resources into coming up with a new story for a game such as 0DST 2 or whatever else it could be. The way I see it, they are putting all of their resources into the development of Halo 5 to make it all that it should be (hopefully the rebirth of Halo). Working on something else would just be unnecessary and halt the production of the actual game that we are all looking forward to the most.

He wasn’t refusing to accept the obvious, he was being skeptical of the obvious. Either way, I’m not too sure that the mods will appreciate us potentially derailing the thread in an argument about what someone meant in their post…
I think the popular opinion is Halo 2 anniversary across the board.
I like to think outside the box and think there is a chance of something much like Halo: ODST.
Could there be a Spartan Op’s game centered around the Spartan 4’s?
Either way speculation aside I’ll be happy with their decision.
Halo 2 Anniversary. There is just too much evidence that it’s coming.
I’m almost certain it’ll be Halo 2 Anniversary this year. With all the hints and such, anything else would be a huge disappointment. I think it’s obvious, and I’m definitely looking forward to it!

The fact the Waypoint Bulletin is intimately using the buzzwords “Great Journey”.
By intimately, I mean directing that line to a game indeed to be released in 2014.
