Has any news on weapon skins been announced? Just wondering if they will work like CoD with many varieties or if they will be more like the Reach armor effects - more limited and difficult to obtain. Also wondering if there will be weapon specific skins - like one design for the DMR only - and if so, just which weapons they will apply to.
I’ve seen a few images of Weapon Skins for Halo 4. But IDK if they were fan made or they’re actually adding them. It would be nice if they did.
I hope there are a variety to choose from, instead of only getting one from a preorder bonus. It gives the player the option to make their favorite weapon even better.
The fan made skins look sweet. Hope 343 looks at them for inspiration.

lets hope they don’t do it the gears of war 3 way in which we get excited that we can make our gun look boss, then 8 days before release tell us that instead of us just unlocking them in-game (which would lead to people playing the game more) we have to pay money for them.

The only two we know of so far is the Battle Rifle one for preordering at specific vendors, and the Assault Rifle skin that comes with the Limited Edition. No further details have been revealed at this time.

maybe the fan made screenshots are really 343 trolling us. I know it probably isn’t but some of the weapon skins for Halo 4 I hope look great.
