I saw the vid about halo5 getting a massive rewrite and how the campaign was going to be sort of open world with an Infinity hub where you can choose where to go and find clues like in odst. Does anyone have any more info on this like which locations there were and things like that? It sounded amazing.

As far as I know the core gameplay was like this…

  • You go to a completely explorable Infinity choose a destination like meridian or the other 5 colonies Lasky was talking about in the first cutscene.
  • You go and explore the area for signs of blue team and master chief.
  • You go through flashbacks like in Halo 3 ODSTThats all I know…

Hunt the Truth. We will never know what the Campaign was going to be like. And 343 might not even be telling the truth. Releasing that info right before E3 just seems odd.
