So yeah what happend to odsts did they became spartan 4’s or did they just dump them in a river or something ? lol what do you think ?

I’m sure they are still around. Although it is easier than it used to be to make Spartans, I can’t imagine that they would put all their eggs in one basket. Modern Militaries usually have more than one type of Special Forces so why not the UNSC? We have Navy Seals, Marine Force Recon, Army Rangers, Green Berets, etc.

While some of the best ODSTs, and other branches, were conscripted into the S-IV program;
I would presume, seeing as Kilo-5 had several ODSTs, that they are still a branch of the UNSC.
We most likely did not see any on Infinity do to the copious amounts of Spartans on board.

Seeing as how all UNSC forces you interact with in halo 4 are from the Infinity, it doesn’t really make sense for there to have been ODST’s in the game. S-IV’s can fulfill all roles the ODST’s can, especially since many of them are ex-ODST’s.
I sure as hell miss them.
If not them…then I wouldn’t mind seeing Spartan-IVs drop in in HEVs at some point.

I imagine it would also be very expensive.
The only ship we see in H4 is the Infinity, which was DESIGNED to house Spartan 4s, so I doubt they would bother putting ODSTs on a ship that was the home to hundreds of Spartans.
This idea that the ODSTs are gone is pretty illogical honestly.

This is what I was thinking. The Infinity has a large force of Spartans on it, so seeing as the Spartans can do everything the ODSTs can and more, there’d be no point in having ODSTs.
^ I wouldn’t say that Kilo 5 consist of ODST. I’m pretty sure you can still use ODST on the Infinity I mean the thing can launch Frigates and the ODST’s have been around for a long time and they use the Spartans for when the Marines can’t handle it.

Was I the only one that thinks the hornet in Skyline is a teaser to a Halo 3: ODST sequel? Mull over that 
On topic: Of course they still exist, considering that almost all the Spartan IV’s were on board the Infinity, I can hardly imagine that they fit every active ODST in the galaxy on it, too.

Remember Halo 2? The ODSTs weren’t wearing their helmets and such when you got to their crash site.
I’ve always considered Marines with the eyepieces as the ODSTs, and any others as regular Marines in that game.
I hope they come back in Halo 5. Those crazy sons of a guns.
ODSTs are definitely still around, since they’re quite useful and important. Remember that a lot of ODSTs disliked or even hated Spartans due to an overinflated ego and sense of rivalry, so I’m guessing that they wouldn’t all want to become Spartans themselves.

Not to mention that Chief killed some of them during a sparring session.
