I was under the impression that we could fiddle with the gametypes as we pleased, just not play them in Matchmaking yet. I thought it would make new options appear in the gametype editing menu and we could edit bloom ect., just not play in MM. So if this isn’t true… then what’s the point of even downloading it today?

343 will release a few custom gametypes for players to test via Fileshare. You can play those in customs but they will not be implemented into Matchmaking until October 4th.
All people are really waiting for is that custom gametype to test out all the new settings.

Yes, all the gametypes you download with the TU changes will be playable in Customs with others.

Yes. Its exactly like Bungie did with Halo Chess. You will be able to download it and play with friends in Custom Games. It won’t be in matchmaking UNTIL October 4th in its own playlist.

Or the changes with camo for MLG. Its gametype specific, not actual player controlled.

The changes won’t be for ALL of Reach matchmaking will they? I heard that they will go in the Classic Playlist and we will keep our normal Reach gameplay mechanics in the other playlists.

The weekly bulletin comes out then. I suggest you take a peak as that’ll probably be where it’s going to be released. If it hasn’t been posted yet go on Halo: Reach and check the top downloaded gametypes… or top recommended… I bet it’ll be there <33
