The next Xbox (the 720?) comes out next christmas? Apparently, Microsoft has said that it will be revealing its next gen console at E3 next year, so that means that it will be shipping either next Xmas (2013) Or the one after that (2014). How does this affect H4? Once the 720 comes out, shiny new games taht utilize its next gen amazingness will come out, and my fear is that this will effectively kill the H4 population. How long will this game even last? If next gen consoles come out next year then is this game even worth buying?

I think a little reveal will be on the next E3 but the Console will be in 2014 holidays
it’s enough to enjoy Halo 4 and I think Halo 5 will be out in 2015 because every new gaming device fails at it’s first year

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Halo 2 still playable on the xbox 360? If anything I bet it’ll be the same for Halo 4 on the next gen xbox.
Halo 5 will likely come out a year after the Nextbox’s release. Not to mention the possibility of other Halo games releasing along with the Nextbox.
I just hope the xbox live is free (ps3 people always talk about that), and it will remember all my xbox game history and achievements! Maybe we make new accounts (that arent stuck on yahoo) and just link them together?

In the recent years, we’ve had some sort of Halo ever 1-2 years. I expect well see a Halo title introduced on the 720. It will probably be some sort of single/co-op title. Maybe Halo Wars 2, maybe ODST 2. Who knows? Of course that’s just my speculation.
Halo 2 came out in 2004 and the 360 came out in 2005.
Maybe the next gen console will have 360 disk compatibility?
If and it prob will have backwards capability, I just play it their and move onto Halo-5.
