So Requiem is finished…
Did 343 just kill off their new enemies?
Yep unless The DIdact has another composer with another means of making them.
Prometheans look cool and all but I didn’t like fighting them. They were boring and they absorbed bullets.

I like them more than the flood.
That 2 pieces key artefact shows every location of Forerunner installation in the galaxy. I’m sure there are more shield worlds. For example, Onyx was one, too.
343i could easily come up with just some random shield world wich contains more Prometheans and even new enemy types (for future Halo games).
I highly doubt they’re gone after how much effort was put into their creation
I would not be surprised if Promethean’s appear on Earth. I guarantee you that will happen in Season 2, if it is released during halo 4, if not halo 5.
I would welcome the idea of new enemies to fight alongside the covenant in Halo 5. Unless the Didact somehow builds another composer and screws over a bunch of humans again…-Please be Palmer, please be Palmer-
I bet most of the Prometheans evacuated along with the Covenant.
There could be other Prometheans, since the Didact had them fighting Flood all over the place. Other Forerunner planets or even the other Halos.
I hope they return anyway, with more variety. I like the Prometheans, their trolling style (which does annoy me at times, but it’s a great challenge), their toughness (exactly what I imagined when I first saw their pics, I would have been disappointed if they were weaker), and the great weapons they bring to the table.
Promethean Vehicles, anyone? I think it would be cool if Prometheans sort of “composed” vehicles by boarding. Jumping on, removing the driver, then buffing the vehicle and turning it into something Forerunner.
Then you get the reward of an awesome vehicle if you manage to kill the driver without blowing it up entirely, or board it yourself.
While I don’t think they’re gone, I do hope 343 is careful about how they bring them back. They have a lot of potential and I have no doubt that 343 will flesh them out but bringing them back could be problematic. They’ll have to bring them back if they do a second season, otherwise it’ll just be the Grunts, Jackals, Elites and Hunters. That’ll get old fast.

If they were attacking Earth with Seraphs, Scarabs, Banshees, Wraiths, Lichs, and maybe even Spectres it could be cool. Without a ton of covy vehicular combat though we might need some knights, watchers, and crawlers. I’m guessing if most of the Promeatheans made it off Requiem they were most likely on the super carrier.

The Storm Covenant doesn’t have a Super-Carrier it seems. I think you meant the Assault Carrier?

Its not like Requiem was the only place the Didact had Prometheans stationed, theres plenty of forerunner tech and shield worls and technolgoy that can either be linked to the Prometheans. Keep in mind he did use them to battle flood many times so I would think he would have his army spread across the galaxy.
Hopefully they get bored and ragequit, much like I do when I’m fighting them.
Seriously, they’re the most pathetic, unimaginative enemies ever whipped out of someone’s tired, old brain.
