While there are MANY things wrong with the beta version of the game so far, I’m here to talk about Cutter. 1st, why is it that in game he’s the one saying “All units” or “Local units” The original guy that said those lines in HW1 was awesome! Why change the voice? Heck, you could just use the exact same voice clips form the first game and it’d be really good. 2nd, What’s up with Cutters voice actor?! I know it’s not the original guy (Gregg Berger) but this new guy doesn’t even sound CLOSE to the original. He sounds like he’s in his 20s, while Cutter is gonna be in his 60s to 70s in HW2. The new guy doesn’t have that commanding voice that Gregg had. And 3rd, of course his look is different too. WHY!? You can’t just port the original model to the second game? The first games graphics were great! So you could just rip anything from those cutscenes and have them in the 2nd game. “Sigh” I don’t want HW2 to fail. But this game needs major improvement if it can’t even get it’s characters straight.

If a person is retired, their usually pretty set on money. Either that or he might have been booked for another gig at the time and this guy is jusy a placeholder. Worse case scenario, they can always recast the voice actor again like they did the ghost in Destiny.

He’s still working. Look at his IMDB page, it’s got things as recent as 2016 that he’s done.
They need Gregg Berger again. This new guy just doesn’t fit the role. I hope that this is just what they are using for the beta not the actual game. Hopefully the final version of the game will be closer to the original game
Jokes aside, the obvious in lore reason is all those years in cryo sleep caused the crew to undergo an experience known as reverse puberty, its as simple as that.
Gideon Emery is the Voice Actor for Cutter in Halo Wars 2. I like the fact that they also included Gideon’s likeness.
