So what can we expect in the next halo game?

Mines takes up 1/5

I would hope not really. as cool as it would be they should fully commit to work on halo 6. any resources spent on a side game would, I feel, take away from the epicness that halo 6 will be

I feel like there will be better marketing for the game when the marketing phase begins and I feel like it will be a lot less misleading. I feel like they will try to find a better balance between social and competitive in Halo 6 after how many people complained about the lack of a true social space, though I have no idea how they will go about doing this. I feel like they will redo the aiming system to feel more similar to the older titles, as we all know that this was one of the most complained about features of the game

Sometimes it works out (removing loadouts and armor abilities but adding Spartan Abilities that everyone has), and sometimes it fails terribly (giving Locke too much screentime). I feel like the reason they aren’t ready to show us anything is honestly because they know what they have to bring to the table to keep Halo alive after how many people gave them one last chance with Halo 5, and they are probably still working on everything to make sure it lives up to the Halo standard before they show anything to us. Halo 6 will be the Halo game we’ve all truly been waiting for

This can’t be liked enough. That they haven’t launched a teaser yet makes me think we might be looking at 2020 rather than 2019 release, but I won’t care as long as when it comes, its right

I think they should just have dedicated packs for granting character customization items, loadout weapons, REQ vehicles, and REQ weapons—but I guess it will all depend if they want keep using cheap ways to generate more playtime…

I am also of the opinion that 343i will make the next Halo the greatest halo yet, multiplayer wise as well as campaign wise. I also hope they bring another new feature to the game as well, though not sure what it would be. A Battle Royal mode similar to PlayerUnknown but in the Halo Universe would definitely be amazing if they see the potential in that.

I hope H6 has a multiplayer pretty similar to H5’s, but I don’t want all those rankings to have to climb. I mean, starting out in Halo 5, you have to fight through silver1-6, then gold1-6, then platinum 1-6 etc. My point it that is was too much for me, I would like to have something like gold 1-3 instead of 1-6.

I would also like a player filter system similar to Reach’s. When I play with a Mic, I wanna play with/against people with Mics, right? But in Halo 5, I get matched with 3 solo players for my team, and the enemy team is full of players communicating in a party. I would be cool with solo players ranking up 1/3 as fast, I’m just tired of being pummeled by team players when I have no one to play with. :frowning: Would cater to casual players a bit more as well.

Another thing I would like to see is more Arena maps. Currently, there aren’t many maps to play regular Arena on. There’s the standard Arena maps: (Fathom, Coliseum, Plaza, The Rig, Truth, Empire, Torque, Molten, Tyrant) The rest are not NEW maps, they’re just remixed or remade maps (looking at you, Mercy) Sure, they’re all fun great maps, but they play on the original’s success. I suppose that’s not a super bad thing, but it makes said maps a little bit stale. (and Truth is even a remake from previous Halos!) I think you all understand what I mean. I would also like to see a map with some different lighting. A map set in the middle of the night for instance. I just want some uniqueness!

I like most of the Spartan abilities and think they should stay. I think Spartan Charge needs to go, though. It gets a little bit annoying. It doesn’t really have much use to it, if you’re coming around a corner while sprinting, why not just melee instead of charging? Ground pounding, clamber, thrusting, and Smart-link are all useful, but not Spartan charge. Plus, if it was removed, it would demotivate people from sprinting and give the game more of an older Halo feel.

Something else I didn’t like about the H5 MP maps is that a lot of them didn’t seem like they would fit in a real place. A lot of the maps had tunnels that led to other areas which would serve no purpose in a real world. It revolves a bit around map theme, in The Rig, you know where that drop-down is above (the callout) “Load Zone”? It drops right down, but in a realistic world, it would be useless. Why would it ever be there? It wouldn’t. This doesn’t bother me too much when there’s one or two of these types of things, but when a map is littered with stuff like that, it just gets ridiculous, but it’s one of my less important pet peeves.

I actually can’t think of much more that I don’t like. H5’s MP is one of my favorites to date.

Someone said it was halo reach 2 now idk if that’s true or not but how would that work out for the game
