So, across the 350 or so members of Spartan Dads, we have a lot of very different personalities and abilities. We’re a very easy-going bunch of guys and girls (we’re not gender-specific dads, obviously!) most of the time but sometimes a difference of opinion can only be settled one way: “1v1 me bro”.
To this end, we now have a 1v1 ladder tournament; however, of the standard maps, I find that only Fathom and Truth are at all suited to 1v1. Does anyone know of, or have created, any great 1v1 maps that we can use to keep things interesting?

Pretty sure those posts from 2009 don’t apply to Halo 5.
And OP, I think your best best would be to look through some Forge maps. I’m sure you’ll find some good ones around!

I usually use Truth as my 1v1 map.
I bet Empire, Eden, and Regret could also play quite well. Regret may be the weakest of the 3 due a bit more limited sightlines, but the top mid structure / control point might really lend itself well to some good 1v1 engagements, a la a twist on Warlock / Wizard 1v1s.

Wasn’t there a community Forge map spotlight in the community update a few months back that was designed for 1v1 games as well? I distinctly remember it looking really cool too.

I’m pretty sure a quick look on Forgehub would help you find a 1v1 map that suits you

I love how you guys are posting more often. Just start posting about MCC and other issues and then people won’t dislike 343i as much.
i would have to say either truth or coliseum
Empire and Colisium. Although they aren’t as good as Fathom and Truth.
Truth. Small, Open, hard to not see your enemy! and them to not see you! There are so many juke spots even though there isn’t much besides Car 2, Pink 2, and both of the bases.
I’d definitely say truth or fathom to 1v1 your friends. Also if they’re a complete noob calling you out as a noob for choosing these maps just tell them to **** off and don’t let them choose the map cause they’ll probably put on a map with a rocket or sniper.
