What if we had a human/UNSC made Banshee? Both turrets would fire chaingun ammo like a warthog turret and instead of a Banshee bomb, it would shoot a SPNKR EX missile. (cluster bomb effect after detonation)
What do you think about this? Is it a cool idea?
You don’t necessarily need to take this post seriously, I’m just kinda joking, while at the same time thinking of things that would at least seem cool in theory.
In theory it would be cool but there is no need for it. The needle hog makes sense in a way to make humans more of a threat, but why would the SOS use more primitive tech on there stuff? Unless they are desperate I don’t see the point while t would be cool.
Your suggestion is a bit cheesy, but the prospect of humanized covenant vehicles is interesting. Possibly ghosts with gungoose launchers? Artillery based mortar wraiths?

Now how exactly does it sound cheesy…?
humans have no problem using “borrowed” technology to improve their stuff but the covenant find it to be hierarchy to -Yoink!- anything they have with that of the infidels. Just simply have English numbers on a plasma pistol it is considered to be defiled

I don’t think the UNSC or the Swords of Sangheli gives a -Yoink- what the Covenant thinks is heresy. They would probably do it just to spite them =P

As in, sorta reverse-engineering a banshee to make it human. So the UNSC would be making it.

This is also a good point to add. An Elite from the Swords of Sanghelios helped make the Helioskrill armor.

How about an ONI Ghost? In canon they could have taken the ones left over after H2 and tried to repair them. They could be a level 6 req. Standard mobility, reduced boost capabilities, but oni turrets in place of the plasma cannons.
