So we are getting a new warden...

…Like the old one itself wan’t annoying, and he’s an enemy in warzone firefight. Just a note, since there is more wardens at a time in firefight, can they not be so loud?

It looked like the same old one to me, just darker because of the lighting. And that black orb thing people think is a new attack is only the death animation of the warden. Nothing new.

There probably is gonna be wardens in firefight, but the new boss type could be anything we really don’t have a clue.

No in one of the cannon fodder or something like that they said there is going to be a stronger warden in firefight

I still think it is a shame they have the whole Halo expanded universe to work with and it doesn’t seem like much will change in terms of enemy variety. I could be wrong of course, but I’d love to see 343 go all out with the bosses.

I hope a much stronger one

your joking right? the WZ version of him (there is a difference between campain version and multiplayer version) takes about 6 or 7 shots with a tank and a most of each team to take him down

If the AIs in WZ FF are able to attack MULTIPLE ENEMIES AT ONCE and not be a bullet sponge, then I wouldn’t mind another Warden.

But some new bosses should be:

  • Tartarus! - Scarab! - Elite in a Wraith Ultra - Brute Chieftain - Prophets of Regret, Truth, and Mercy! - Elite in a Banshee Ultra - Mister Chief and Spicy Loke! (jks)

No they said “and you thought the warden was bad?” meaning the addition of new bosses, “mythic bosses”

I would love that too, but its unlikely there will be too much in the way of completely new content. As much as I’d love it if they added Brutes, Engineers, Prophets, Buggers, Enforcers, The Didact, Flood, Scarabs, Sentinels or even Sharquoi as regular enemies or bosses, we’ll be lucky to get even one new enemy who isn’t a reskin of an already existing opponent. Building a completely new enemy type from scratch complete with AI, modeling and mechanics is a big job and I wouldn’t blame 343 for not wanting to start a bunch of projects like that so late after release, especially when it will be free content.

That said, it is highly probable that there will be some type of Flood form for the rumored Infection update, in which case there might be a Flood inspired enemy in Firefight. If 343 is going to try to bring us a completely new enemy specifically for Warzone, my personal pipedream would be for a Sharquoi boss. It would be cool to finally get that species released as part of a game. Maybe as a hulking boss with a giant Gravity Hammer type weapon he swings in wide arcs forcing multiple Spartans to duck, dash, dodge and slide

It’s Warden Eternal’s cousin: Warden Temporary.

10 points to Gryffindor!

Multiple Warden bodies on the field would be amazing because not only does that bring back his campaign madness, but not one single team can eliminate him after you put your all into him. More Wardens means more chances for more take-downs!
