So, umn...Is there Campaign Theater In H5, or...?

343’s recent hilarious “Halo 5 - LIVE” ads are nothing but eye candy, comedy relief for a relatively serious game even more so. My favorite one by far is “Ohhh yeah,” showing off some snazzy water effects accompanied by an oddly pleasing voice.

they all bring joy to my Halo loving self-being, yet they leave me with a question many need an answer to:
Were they recorded with a possible Campaign theater mode? Or were they simply using dev tools along with special effects?

A theater for campaign would be great, as Halo 4 lacked such mode for reasons pertaining to first-person QTE’s. Seeing that Halo 5 lacked such events (as far as I’ve seen,) has campaign theater made a comeback?

Or are we being REQ’d by 343 here?

I don’t think there will be a theater mode for campaign. I believe it’s just because they have internal access to the game (since obviously they made it) so they have the ability to create certain videos us mainstream gamers can’t.

There is no campaign theater. There’s only multiplayer theater, and it’s the same as MCC. You can’t record clips, screenshot, or free cam.

That would stink if it’s true, but it makes sense.

I really don’t see why people want this so bad… If something really cool or funny happens in the campaign and you want to record it just use the Xbox One’s recording system.

People go into it as well to look at the Sparans, enemies, environments, etc. You can’t do that was the dvr…

But people want a better angle of it, or like me, I hear it and have to hear about it from your friend.
