Edit: Nice find! I don’t know, maybe it’s the new Promethean Grenade that’s been rumored, or maybe it’s some kind of stun grenade (if it is, facepalm) Perhaps it is the residual effect of the rumored Promethean Power Weapon, who knows!

In all seriousness its looks like the FRG to me.
i’m thinking it might be a shield acidic grenade. You get hit by it, and it’ll sap your shields over time.
Looks more like a fuel rod gun to me
