Halo is like Star Wars. Star Wars was amazing, if not perfect in 4-6, but 1-3? They were terrible! Only the children liked it, because it was made for kids.
The games produced by Bungie? Phenomenal.
The games produced after Bungie? Complete trash.
343 has ruined the story. They’ve ruined multiplayer. It’s quite sad, really.
Anyways, I just tried playing it for the first time in 8 months, or so. First game was 30-6, or something. Can’t stand it, so I thought I’d hop on the forums and express my dislike for this company and it’s games! You know, piss off all the little -Yoink–suck fan boys, haha.
The story is better under 343i than it ever would have been under Bungie.
Bungie also had a couple decades of game design experience as a team.

Please go make a triple AAA video game title, right now, and lets go see how it comes out.
343i has acknowledged that they made mistakes, and their post-launch support for the things they can change has been amazing.
Also, while Bungie’s games were certainly good, I wouldn’t say phenomenal.
Halo 2’s around 5 cut missions leave a bad taste in my mouth. And Halo 3’s story was actually bad. So many plot holes, major character changes, and other moments just there for the sake of drama.

Because i343 picked people of the street, right?
I really doubt that a single person on the entire team hadn’t been in on another game before. Furthermore, very few in the game industry are lone wolves, they’ve worked in teams before. While switching teams can cause some small issues, the team members quickly learn each other quite fast, and during a 3 or so year development period, that time it takes is not much.
Let’s also not forget that they had allready made a Halo that was traditional, that they scrapped in favour of what we got.
