This has been happening so often over the last two months… and frankly, this is the worst matchmaking that Bungie/343 have ever done. This needs to get fixed. The whole placement matches, KDA sorting, or whatever is just not working properly.
TLDR… we got beat 50 - 11… by so called “similar” placements…

It’s the worst ranking 343 has done. Bungies ranking system was just fine. I have never been more frustrating with ranking then H5.
The plat 4 is the only player on that team that seems possibly illegitimate, ranking onyx in all other playlists (and even champ in one), but that is most likely due to the ranking system.
Yeah it does seem a bit unbalanced sometimes. I’m a platinum player currently, but sometimes I’ll get absolutely destroyed by a team of majority gold players.
Second accounts, people throwing placement matches to rank low will do these things as well so not completely the ranking systems fault.
I dislike Halo 5’s and Halo 4’s ranking system very much. I like the standard 1-50.
