Saw it at the end of Bravo’s video. If you watched the whole thing at the end you’d see him rank up to SR4. Whether it’s still at place holder or the actual thing, I don’t know. But, it just may be the new ranking system. No 1-50 guys and gals. I’m sure not everyone is going to be pleased with this.

From what I gather, the ranks go from SR-1 to SR-50 (and then 10 ranks per specialisation) in a Reach-style levelling up system. So there is a 1-50 of sorts.

Dude, I saw you in another thread. I don’t agree with it either but it’ll be addressed at the Halo panel. I’m sure everyone is pissed off about it. Not being able to drop the flag is a big NO for me personally. We’ll have our questions answered tomorrow hopefully.

We knew there was going to be no 1-50 for months now…There is some form of ranking we just dont know what it is yet…

SR I’m guessing stands for Spartan Rank.

Well we saw the SR rank system in the E3 build and that was June. It’s stayed in until now. I’m thinking that this is the finalized rank system. If they havent changed it by now, I’m thinking they’re going to keep it.

There is progression rank for specializations. Max ranks for specializations are lvl 50.

i dont like the whole xp or points thing …it being a trend in games now and starting to piss me off

Its amazing how many people are still clueless to the ranking system. I’ll try to help.
Halo 4 will have both a skillful ranking system(halo 2/3) AND a progression system(reach/halo 3 update). The ranking system will accurately match you with other players, while the progression system will unlock armor, skins and specializations. the SR-ranks are for the progression system.

Halo Reach had a hidden ranking system and progression system. We all know how that turned out. Pro teams playing 4’s in the MLG playlist being matched up against terrible players and guests.
