So this is what 60 FPS looks like?

Because I can’t tell the difference. Somebody said go back and play other games that are 30 fps and see if you can tell. My wife was playing Destiny in the other room, I walked over and couldn’t tell the difference.
Is this like the difference between 1080p and 720p?
Was it worth it?

Having a nice TV helps. Some people can’t tell though. I am too picky with mine I have to play on a 1ms response time monitor other wise I feel limited. My friends can’t tell the difference though.

Really? There is a big enough difference to me in terms of both game play and visuals.
I don’t use Split Screen much and I did support the decisions to go with 60fps, but I would like to see SS back in 6.

I don’t want to be that guy, but watch a video of Halo 5 on youtube in 30 fps, then try switching to 60. If you can’t discern a difference, then I’m not sure what to say.

Honestly the difference is huge, I have been a PC gamer primarily for a while now and am glad to see consoles finally getting 60 fps I find them much more bearable now. honestly after a while anything below 60 feels completely unacceptable. I enjoy console games every now and again but in the past the framerate was just so jittery and slow it almost made my head hurt playing certain games on console.

It can be harder to notice on a TV than a monitor though it is still very clear that there is a difference

I bet eventually they’ll be able to do 60fps and SS, but currently it seems like they took back some graphics in order to make 60fps happen. That could also be effects of a new game on a new console. The graphics and extra features always take a hit.

How do I try this? I’ll give it a shot. I’d love to say “Halo runs on 60fps!” But it’s hard to make that argument without knowing what it looks like.

Just watch a youtube video, and the hd qualities will be annotated with 60 fps. Switch the quality to 480p for a moment to see what 30 fps looks like, the scale it up to HD to see the full 60 fps.

Gsync fixes that. I play games maxed out on graphics that only run 44 fps but you can’t tell.

This is a side by side comparison of multiple games at 30 and 60 fps 30fpsvs60fps

I never drop below 60 unless the game has a serious issue XD do they make 21:9 gsync monitors?

There are some people with eye problems like me, I don’t know about you, but i can only tell the difference in the first 1 or 2 minutes, after that it all goes the same for me, and like my eye is so bold, sometimes i feel 60 fps makes it more laggy… but that’s my eye.

That’s a good way of describing it.
Like looking at a car’s wheel while driving next to it. It almost looks like it’s spinning backwards.
