I just got my Halo 5 Limited Collectors Edition delivered to my house. I’m not going to install anything since it isn’t supposed to be released yet, but I need to know if this was a mistake.
343i, what’s the deal here? Was the game supposed to come today or did Gamestop screw up?

No. I’ve been a loyal Halo player since the very beginning; I’m not going to break the rules just because some loophole found me. I want 343i’s input before I do anything with it at all.
If you got the edtition with the statue (Locke and Chief), yes it was due to be delivered on the 20th. It comes with a digital code so you can pre-download (not play early) and be ready for launch. If you want a physical disk, check the Halo 5 forums for detail of the disk swap program, don’t redeem your code just yet. ]
If you just got the standard limited edition without the giant statue, well, congrats OP you got lucky
